The history of the Georgia living will intersects with my family. In 1989 Allison McClelland, my 17 year old sister, introduced the legislation for Georgia’s first living will in a school competition. Since then, thousands of Georgians have benefited from this law. However, the vast majority of Georgians still do not have a living will.
